  • Part-time job opportunities: according to the German law, international students can work part-time for 20 hours a week, or 120 full days in a year, while studying. At an estimate, around 60% of international students in this country have a part-time job. Qualifications are not required for the same as there are a variety of jobs available at hand, such as a translator, tutor, writer, waiter, social media assistant, and administrative staff. Additionally, universities also offer part-time jobs to students on campus. These jobs could include working in the library, research and teaching assistant jobs and assistance in the administrative department. Additionally, on completion of their studies, international students in Germany can take up the option of the 18 month post-study permit, which they can use for applying to jobs.
