Students fast tracked to Wayfair assessment day

Gisma - Business School

Some of the preselected students were offered job interviews immediately after the company presentation…

GISMA recently hosted Wayfair at its Berlin campus for an exclusive recruiting event. The event started with a company presentation, followed by a session on ‘how to survive an Assessment Day at Wayfair’.

Wayfair is an online retailer that sells home furnishings and décor items. With its European headquarters located in Berlin, the company has over ten million products from over 10,000 suppliers. It offers a selection of home goods through its sites, such as Wayfair, Joss & Main, AllModern, DwellStudio and Birch Lane.

Our students also had the great opportunity to apply for open job vacancies at Wayfair Berlin. Some of the preselected students were offered job interviews immediately after the company presentation and have since been invited to Wayfair’s assessment day.

Maria Vaskova, Career Development Centre Manager at GISMA Business School, commented saying: ‘Company presentations are an excellent opportunity to learn about company culture, job opportunities, the application process and employer benefits, as well as gaining first-hand impressions from the employees. We get very positive feedback from partnering companies about the international profile of our students. Just like Wayfair, many of the companies include a recruiting part in this type of event.’
