Dr. Eng. Sami Alsalamin
Dr. Eng. Sami Alsalamin is a distinguished professor at Gisma University of Applied Sciences, specialising in Computer Science and Engineering. His research interests are broad, encompassing multiple disciplines within Computer Science and Engineering, including system and algorithm optimisation, the Internet of Things (IoT), emerging technologies, embedded systems reliability, and machine learning. His contributions to these fields are highly regarded, with numerous publications in leading journals and conferences.
Dr. Alsalamin’s academic journey reflects both diversity and excellence. He earned his PhD in Engineering from the prestigious Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany in 2021. He also holds a BSc in Computer Systems Engineering and an MSc in Informatics from the esteemed Palestine Polytechnic University.
Before joining Gisma, Dr. Alsalamin served as a research group leader at Swissbit AG in Germany, where he spearheaded innovative projects in embedded systems development. His blend of academic and industrial experience positions him as a key contributor to advancements in Computer Science and Engineering, bringing both theoretical expertise and practical insights to his teaching and research at Gisma.
