Professor Dr. Ghadeer Khartabiel
Dr. Ghadeer Khartabiel is an accomplished academic and educator specialising in Business Analytics and Econometrics. She joined Gisma University of Applied Sciences in November 2024 as an Associate Professor and Programme Director for the Foundation Course.
Dr. Ghadeer holds a PhD in Economics from Universiti Malaysia Perlis and an MSc in Economics from the University of Hohenheim, Germany. Prior to her current role, she contributed to Gisma as a part-time lecturer, delivering Mathematics and Statistics modules.
Before her association with Gisma, Dr. Ghadeer served as a full-time lecturer at the German Jordanian University from 2013 to 2017, where she taught Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, and Economics. In 2016, she extended her expertise as a guest lecturer at Hochschule Fulda in Germany, fostering international academic collaboration and contributing to departmental research initiatives.
From January 2017 to December 2020, Dr. Ghadeer worked as an Accreditation Consultant with Leaders Holding Group in the UAE. In this role, she specialised in accreditation processes and quality improvement initiatives, enhancing institutional excellence. As an active research scholar, Dr. Ghadeer has published her work in esteemed journals, including the Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting. Her research interests and teaching experience demonstrate her dedication to advancing knowledge in her field and supporting student success.
